I 100% do not believe in diets, and there is definitely no magic tricks or shakes. It has taken me several years to get to know my body and what leaves me feeling my best. Eating to fuel you at your best is all about trial and error, taking note of how you feel after eating a particular food, monitoring your energy levels or eating for a positive mindset. I find having some structure helps me, so I don’t devour everything in eyesight. This blog is essentially just what I like to eat; a day on a plate Wolfffyy style.
My philosophy: Holistic nutrition is all about eating healthy foods, as close to its natural state as possible for optimum health and well-being. Whole foods typically include incorporating a variety of natural foods into your diet. These include fish, salmon, lean meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, eggs, oats, seeds and legumes. I aim to limit or cut back on the amount of processed foods consumed. As processed foods lack the nutrients and fibre needed to fill you up, especially after an excellent Wolffpack Fitness or Pilates workout.
Disclaimer: In saying all that, I personally don’t need much variety or flavour to be satisfied. This is simply one day in my week, so let’s have a look at an average Wolffy day on a plate.

Pre Breakfast
I like to start my morning with hot water, lemon with some apple cider vinegar and a scoop of collagen powder.
I am not a coffee drinker. I have avoided caffeine or any stimulants that elevate the heart rate, from birth I was diagnosed with a VSD and had open heart surgery in 2003. I have ridiculous amounts of natural energy. (sometimes too much, sorry mum)
Breakfast
About 30-40 mins later, I have breakfast. I never skip breakfast; it’s my favourite meal. I have a few favourites here, but my go-to at the moment is scrambled eggs, with oat or rice milk and baby spinach, topped with flax seeds and sea salt, accompanied by a slice of gluten-free bread. My favourite currently is Genius, soft brown farmhouse gluten-free bread. (Available from Coles)
Snacks
I actually enjoying snacking through the day. I snack on berries, usually whatever is on special because nobody wants $7 blueberries. (By snack on I mean around a small handful)
I am also currently addicted to the wholesome food company Veggie Crisps that contain purple and sweet potato chips. I try to resist all temptation to eat the whole bag in one sitting, but hey, we are only human. (Also from Coles)
During summertime, I love to have a mango mid-morning or maybe snack on frozen peas mid-afternoon. It might sound weird, but imagine on a hot, humid day eating a cup of frozen peas by the pool, it is delicious.

Lunch
Today lunch consisted of a salad with a piece of cooked salmon on top. Each day I like to change up the ingredients in my salad a little bit. I like to keep my eating style quite Mediterranean, so lunch usually consists of tuna, white fish or salmon.
My favourite salad right now: Baby spinach, LOTS of tomatoes- (if you don’t already know I am obsessed with tomatoes), alfa seeds, alfa sprouts, cucumber, beetroot, yellow capsicum, feta, pepita seeds with a topping apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar or green goddess dressing by Keep it Cleaner. You guessed it from Coles.
Dinner
For me, dinners can be all different styles. I like to have something different each night planning it out on Sunday night for the week ahead, so I know I am getting a variety of whole foods into my body. Tonight I had healthy burrito bowls, which are quick and easy to make. You can find the recipe @wolffpackhealthandfitness it includes lean beef mince, burrito reduced salt seasoning, brown rice, baby spinach, TOMATOES, grated carrot, grated cheese, salsa, Greek yogurt, cucumber, capsicum. So delicious you can pretty much add anything to your bowl.

Treats
I absolutely love making raw healthy treats. Tonight I had a cheeky little lemon tart I made earlier in the week, these are so delicious and cleaner than most sweet treats we snack on. Find this healthy recipe @wolffpackhealthandfitness
